Antidepressants are largely waste of time and money say experts
How depressing. Just not knowing this fact made so many people happy. I think they should sue the media for mental damages, bringing bacdepression.

Except cost me a fortune in prescriptions-

Just read the comment properly.
I kept telling the doctor, and he said, 'increase the dose'.
so I did.
I guess i hoped they would start working eventually.
Pathetic, isn't it?-

In the end, I did.
When I'd weaned myself off them (I was taking 4 a day at one time), i started going to meditation.
At least that's cheaper.-
and there is no placebo effect

I guess it could be argued that meditation is entirely a placebo effect.
But as long as it works, does that matter?
It works for me, which is more than the pills ever did.
Not a quick fix, however. It's taken me three years to feel I am really getting somewhere.
Sometimes you just have to persist with things before you get a result.-
