Why when my wife doesn’t want to make dinner, she calls me, telling me she couldn’t make it, and asking me to eat on my way back home.
So why when she doesn’t feel like having sex, she does not call me to tell me to have some before I come home?

I think I'll stick with my wife then ![]()
Mine's not free at the moment. My cooking is such a great aphrodisiac. ![]()

Don't even go down there!
I know you said it was a hypothetical question.
quite funny, quite true, but i wont attempt an answer as it was hypothetical anyway........bugger i really want to answer....
A x
so why don't you give hypothetical answer?
I expect she thinks food is more important. I wouldn't comment on that.
don't they all? don't they all?
Absolutely not!
a ray of light.
illumination
there is still hope
it's not all about food
No, you are right, it's not all about food.
It's all about appetite!
Lovely words though.
but appetite without food, isn't it hunger
I'm not saying anything more than "beware of Geeks baring ifs!"
translation please.
Great line! ![]()
I wish I'd thought of it.
Sure you're not another manifestation of me that I'd forgotten about?
got life of my own. Used to be a shadow
Sorry, that wasn't directed at you, but at Arnica.
Perhaps!
It was a good line though wasn't it? - but how to explain it
Erm
Hypothetical = ifs
Geeks = geeks
Pun on phrase "beware of Greeks bearing gifts"
you're too soft hearted.
should've left him guessing ![]()
But he's a guest in England (I think?)
Forgive me if I'm wrong!
so all the nice treatment I've received here is merely the famous English hospitality? And I nearly took it personally ![]()
I knew it would be taken the wrong way!
I can't win!
why do you want to win?
Just a figure of speech!
BTW, my English is good enough to understand figures of speech ![]()
Yes I know! you're an excellent wordsmith!
thanks. But it's mainly the dictionary that does the work for me
A thoughtful conundrum. I don't know the answer because I'm not married; but I'm convinced there is an answer.
get married, and you shall find ![]()
When I don't feel like cooking, I remember what hunger feels like.
but then, IMHO cooking is one of the greatest pleasures in life.
Other than that, I couldn't possibly comment.
I like eating, but don't like cooking
Can't have one without the other.
Fortunately I love both.
Sure you can. This is the reason God invented restaurants
Tell that to my hubby
Im telling that to you, not good enough ?
Sorry, can't reply now, got to go and start cooking dinner
I told him what you said.
I expected him to say 'Restaurants cost money'.
He did not disappoint me.
I never had any luck with men ![]()
I wouldn't let it bother you.
They're really not worth it. :
you wouldn't let it bother me? How should I interpret this expression?
Don't worry about it.
now I'm getting worries
Well, don't.
In what way is sex and dinner comparable, I wonder?
Do you and your wife sometimes go "out" for sex the same way as you go out for a meal? Only if you answer 'yes' to that question, you can compare the two things!
Did I compare the two? I thought I was merely asking a question ![]()
Of course you are comparing those two things as you ask why your wife would answer differently! ![]()
oh. I missed that part ![]()
*BOL*
welcome back to the virtual world
ah well i wouldnt leave it especially as you are in it ![]()

All I can say is...mealtimes...family mealtimes and cooking is a routine. If the routine gets messed up...you adapt.
Don't really know about the sex thing...as...well...I would never/have never said no...in the marriage scenario...(oops too much info but anyway)...
Presumably you talk and ask her if there is anything you can do to help the situation?
no comment
Why no comment...is it too personal? Sorry.
